Multi-Peak Pano

It's Majestic Marvel Monday! Since Mondays can often be one of the tougher days of the week and for many, it means back to the daily grind, what better way to put a smile on your face than to marvel at His majestic wonders! I absolutely love photography! It is both a creative outlet and passion that brings me joy. So, each Monday, I will post at least one photo of God’s majestic marvels I’ve captured. See and be in awe of His creations and beauty!

It was so refreshing to get out into the cool, crisp air this weekend. It had warmed up quite a bit and was a whole 42 degrees. The snow was beginning to melt and we were blessed with sunshine and beautiful blue skies. Signs of spring and new hope were among us. It wasn’t difficult to snap some gorgeous shots of God’s incredible creation. Multi-Peak Pano was one of those that I was able to capture this past Saturday.

Fireweed Flair

It’s Majestic Marvel Monday! Since Mondays can often be one of the tougher days of the week and for many, it means back to the daily grind, what better way to put a smile on your face than to marvel at His majestic wonders! I absolutely love photography! It is both a creative outlet and passion that brings me joy. So, each Monday, I will post at least one photo of God’s majestic marvels I’ve captured. This week’s mountain shots are decorated with some Fireweed Flair. This is the first time since being in Alaska (not quite a year now), that I got to see these beautiful wildflowers dressing the hillsides throughout the landscape. While these shots only show a few of these tall, fuscia-colored flowers that thrive in mountain meadows, they sure brightened up these pics!

Today’s pic, Bee Bum, is an example of beauty discovered in the weeds. Sometimes we just have to look harder than that stunning mountain up ahead. Perhaps, what’s most beautiful, is the simplicity God plants right in our own backyards.

Bluebell Bloom

Today’s pic, Bluebell Bloom, was shot on a day where the sun shone all around, unlike our first day of the new season-a gloomy one, filled with dark, dreary clouds. I chose this photo for my Majestic Marvel pick because it signifies hope. It’s a reminder of what is just around the corner-Summertime! For even though darkness surrounds us, the Son will rise and the light will always shine again.

Peaked Serenity

Today’s pic, Peaked Serenity, was recently taken on a bright and blissful Saturday drive in Alaska, while on the hunt to harvest some native plants. I was able to capture several images on foot, however, as tranquil as this photo looks, the irony is that I didn’t actually stop at this serene spot. Instead, this was one of many images I shot out the passenger seat window from our moving car this past weekend. My finger was snapping away as fast as it could trying to get the perfect shot as we flew down the old highway.

Today’s shot, Reflection Range, was snapped this past Saturday on a drizzly, Alaskan spring afternoon. Thick clouds blanketed the sky, but that didn’t stop God’s beauty from shining through.

The sun has been hiding here in Alaska the past couple of days, and the dark gloomy clouds have been hovering over us drizzling drops of rain, off and on. Needing a little more spring and “bright” in my life, I thought I’d share these Blushing River Blossoms shots that I snapped back in 2019, in colorful Colorado.
