Bluebell Bloom

It’s Majestic Marvel Monday! Since Mondays can often be one of the tougher days of the week and for many, it means back to the daily grind, what better way to put a smile on your face than to marvel at His majestic wonders! I absolutely love photography! It is both a creative outlet and passion that brings me joy. So, each Monday, I will post at least one photo of God’s majestic marvels I’ve captured. See and be in awe of His creations and beauty!

Today’s pic, Bluebell Bloom, was shot on a day where the sun shone all around, unlike our first day of the new season-a gloomy one, filled with dark, dreary clouds. I chose this photo for my Majestic Marvel pick because it signifies hope. It’s a reminder of what is just around the corner-Summertime! For even though darkness surrounds us, the Son will rise and the light will always shine again.

he is like the light of morning at sunrise on a cloudless morning, like the brightness after rain that brings grass from the earth.’ -2 Samual 23:4

Fuel Your Walk Friday

Fuel your walk with some Jesus and Joe.

I love Jesus and I love me an iced cuppa fresh cold brew halved with vanilla almond milk. What better way to combine the two and perk up the beginning of your weekend, than to “Fuel Your Walk” with some Jesus and Joe. Once a week, I will be posting a little snippet, thought, quote or question to ponder in relation to your walk with Christ. So grab your favorite mug, pour yourself a delicious cuppa Joe and get comfy as you let these questions percolate in your mind:

Francis Chan said, “Our greatest fear should not be of failure but of succeeding at things in life that don’t really matter. ‎”

Where are your priorities regarding success?

Peaked Serenity

It’s Majestic Marvel Monday! I absolutely love photography! It is both a creative outlet and passion that brings me joy. So, each Monday, I will post at least one photo of God’s majestic marvels I’ve captured. See and be in awe of His creations and beauty!

Today’s pic, Peaked Serenity, was recently taken on a bright and blissful Saturday drive in Alaska, while on the hunt to harvest some native plants. I was able to capture several images on foot, however, as tranquil as this photo looks, the irony is that I didn’t actually stop at this serene spot. Instead, this was one of many images I shot out the passenger seat window from our moving car this past weekend. My finger was snapping away as fast as it could trying to get the perfect shot as we flew down the old highway.

In the book, Crazy Love: Overwhelmed by a Relentless God, Francis Chan asks, ‎”Do you know that nothing you do in this life will ever matter, unless it is about loving God and loving the people he has made?”

Will you choose love today?

Treasured Trickle

It’s Majestic Marvel Monday! See and be in awe of His creations and beauty!

Today’s shot, Treasured Trickle, is one I snapped in Central Washington two summers ago when our family was blessed to camp host in a forest of wonders. Making my daily rounds, I shot this trickling waterfall in one of the campsites I was cleaning. Little did I know then, how near and dear to my heart this photo would become. So many memories were made that summer season-memories with family that I will forever cherish.

Today’s pic, Remote Rock, is another recent Alaskan spring shot. While the icy lake finally melted, the mountains are still proudly wearing their cloaks of snow. As the prominent peaks reflect onto this freshly rediscovered body of water, the lone rock peers out looking for his shadow.

Beth Moore said “This is our time on the history line of God. This is it. What will we do with the one deep exhale of God on this earth? For we are but a vapor and we have to make it count. We’re on. Direct us, Lord, and get us on our feet.”

Are you making it count?

The sun has been hiding here in Alaska the past couple of days, and the dark gloomy clouds have been hovering over us drizzling drops of rain, off and on. Needing a little more spring and “bright” in my life, I thought I’d share these Blushing River Blossoms shots that I snapped back in 2019, in colorful Colorado.
