Sea Foam Simplicity

It's Majestic Marvel Monday! Since Mondays can often be one of the tougher days of the week and for many, it means back to the daily grind, what better way to put a smile on your face than to marvel at His majestic wonders! I absolutely love photography! It is both a creative outlet and passion that brings me joy. So, each Monday, I will post at least one photo of God’s majestic marvels I’ve captured. See and be in awe of His creations and beauty!

On Sunday, we took a short day trip. Strolling along the icy beach, I was lulled by the rolling waves. The artist in me began noticing the beauty in the simple-the thick sea foam with its perfect curves, and the patterns on the sand after each lapping wave was pulled back out into that vast ocean. It wasn’t the beautiful mountains off in the distance that caught my attention this time. Grabbing my camera, I snapped these minimalistic Sea Foam Simplicity shots.

Mirrored Mountaintops

Today’s shot, Mirrored Mountaintops, was taken at this beautiful campground nestled away in woods, here in the Last Frontier. Surrounded by snowy peaks reflecting off the partially frozen lake, two ducks enjoy this sunny blue sky day as they frolic on the ice.

Blissful Bluebird Sky

Today’s panoramic, Blissful Bluebird Sky, was shot on a Saturday drive, here in Alaska. We happened upon this gorgeous sweet spot tucked away in the National Forest this past weekend.

Warm rays kiss the skin
Cerulean waters lap
Snow-capped mountains-still

Sunny Spring Sea

Today’s beautiful photo, Sunny Spring Sea, was taken by our eleven-year-old daughter on a family beach trip this past Saturday afternoon. The ball of warmth peeping through the clouds reminds me of the Son gazing down on us, ever shining His bright light in our lives.

Today’s photo, Sand Waves, was taken yesterday. The sky was as blue as can be and the clouds were playing hide and seek. Snowy mountains poked their heads out over the bay. A bright, sunshiny gorgeous spring day at the beach, was perfect for collecting sea treasures in Alaska.

The Mighty One

Today’s photo, The Mighty One, was captured in our backyard in Alaska. There was something about this lone leaf that I was particularly drawn to. Perhaps, it was because it was still standing in the dead of winter fighting the freezing temperatures. Perhaps, it was because it was one of the last ones standing, shouting “I will survive”, when most of the others had fallen. Perhaps, it reminded me a little bit of myself, holding on with all my might during the storms of life. Whatever it was, I couldn’t help but take several pictures of it. The symbolism and beauty of this leaf hanging on had me mesmerized.
